Giampaolo Panariello has 30 year of experience in telecommunication. He started his career in Alenia Aerospazio (today Tales Alenia Space) as Active Antennas designer. Pioneer of LEO Satellite Constellations, he worked on the Globalstar project as designer of on-board active antennas and in the realization of Small Satellite Integration Centre in Rome for high-rate Globalstar satellite production. Moreover, he was involved in innovative spacecraft projects like Meteosat Second Generation (MSG) and Cosmo Sky-Med.

He then moved to Siemens, where he covered the role of Radio Access Team Leader and then Head of Bid Management for 3G Mobile network launches in Italy and Europe.

In Nokia, he was Head of Technologies for fixed and mobile networks, responsible for customers in Italy, Mediterranean area and Global, supporting the launch of 4G and 5G Mobile Networks.

Today in Nokia he is CTO for major customers in the Mediterranean region, covering the full portfolio solutions. He is also responsible for Nokia Worldwide communities on Non-Terrestrial Networks and Security.

He has more than 25 between participations in conferences and publications on specialized papers.
