Professor Dimitrios Varoutas is the Vice President for electronic communications of the Hellenic Telecommunications & Post Commission (EETT) since February 2020. 

He serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the School of Science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens - UoA (www.uoa.gr).

He has been appointed as Member of Board of the Hellenic Authority for Communication Security and Privacy (www.adae.gr) from 2007 to 2016.
